History comes to life at the Harvest Faire. The smells and atmosphere will delight your senses with craft demonstrations, games, food and more. We are a hands-on learning center, located in Rock Hill Farm, PA near the Village of Welsh Run. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with more than 30 acres, you will find two house museums, a research library, walking trails, several gardens and so much more history located on the grounds.
LuhrsCenter for Performing Arts at Shippensburg University
The Luhrs Center is a premier facility and is located between Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Harrisonburg, Virginia. Building upon its tradition of attracting national touring companies and nationally known performers and speakers. The Center currently attracts symphony orchestras, dance companies, and four-star performers, and is ideal for artist-in-residence programs.
East Broad Top Railroad

This is a great for families and is a National Historic Landmark. The railroad, built in 1872, is the only 3’ gauge common carrier railroad east of the Rocky Mountains.

Caledonia State Park, an 1,125-acre park is in Adams and Franklin counties, midway between Chambersburg and Gettysburg along US 30.The park is located in South Mountain, between the Blue Ridge Mountain of Maryland and West Virginia. The soils in this area are ideal for fruit production and there are a number of orchards and farm stands in the surround area.
